Since the opening of Cane Creek in 1998 it's been the home to the Boys StateTournament each 4th of July Weekend. While there are no Boys

teams active in the Cookeville area

it's important to boys softball in

Tennessee because of  the events

there each year. Home to a couple of World Series,1999 and 2000.

Only 30 miles East is Crossville, home of 2001 World Series and the

Youth Center teams. 50 miles West to Wilson County and 40 miles North of Warren County make Cane Creek

Cane Creek has become our home

Complex. Ginny and I live 10 miles away. When I moved here in 1995,

we recruited several boys from the area to play on our SportsWorld teams. It proved what I've always said, if the boys play softball they usually love the game and look forward to playing tournaments
